Anxious Body. 2018. Photography, 35mm colour slide projection, lightboxes, glass sculpture intallation
Work reflects on anxious nature of contemporary human being who is constantly faced with various stressful tasks, information, products and services that all together creats anxiety and need for remedy or escape which often is found in religious fanaticism, sexual entertainments or usage of drugs or alcohol which many times leads to addictions. Whilst porn industry is flourishing, comprehension of sexuality remains unclear.Young generation is growing up with online porn where a woman is seen as ever-pleasing mother that can entertain men within few minutes time without actual real-life encounter.
Consumption of excessive online pornography perhaps tells a story not only about human sexuality but psyche of contemporary human being who is too busy and stressed to engage with his own real life.
